sanctuary art

|
A page dedicated to some of the art and craft ideas we have produced to help our worship, give the community meaning and bring some holy colour into the sanctuary.
We also show these items in conjunction with our Open Church project, giving some idea to people about what sort of things go on and how we see and understand ourselves.
We are a very varied community of people with a plethora of different gifts. This is a small showcase of some of the these gifts.

Our harvest and dedication service revolved around the vine and the branches. CRAFTdaft made the wall hangings of autumn leaves and in front of the communion table were bare branches. During our dedication of all our organisations, chidlren came forward and hung leaves on the branches, each leaf with the name of an organisation. October 2000 |
