In the kiss of the
sunrise and the embrace of the wind
God
comes to us today
In the wet grass
and crushed velvet of new petals
God
comes to us today
In the stir of
emotion and the bed of life
God
comes to us today
This is the place
of creation:
Of life-givingness
and love's libation.
Let us treat it
with a sanctity and a glory
That will rebirth
our broken world
From the lash of
injustice and the blasphemy of inequality
To laughter and rainbows
From dullness of
human heart and darkness of soul
To fresh air and
deep down joy
And love,
Shining like the sun,
Will set life free
in the world.
The Creator calls
And all creation sings
Sing now a song of love.
