(involvement)

Puting what we teach into what we practice.

Young folk judge the success of a church not on how much money it has, but on how it responds to issues of peace and justice according to a report published a few years ago. We're not brilliant at it but we are slowly trying to respond to this, not because of the report's findings but because t o us, it makes sense of what the gospel tells us.

loaves & fishes

Each Harvest and Christmas we organise collections of food and clothing for the local homeless through The Loaves and the Fishes organisation.

guide dogs for the blind

This is our latest project. Through filling Pringle tins, colouring pictures and various other ways, we've raised £500 to help puppy walk a guide dog.

parish

We provide flowers in spring for nearly everyone in our congregation after a coffee morning and Daffodil Sunday.

coffee days

We run a number of coffee days throughout the year to raise funds but, maybe more importantly, to get to know everyone, and live the community life with everyone.

whole people of god

We use The Whole People of God material which is integrated with the whole life of the congregation. We look at Biblical issues and contemporary issue and discover they are one and the same.
