There are only a few places free enough to be called holy places. Many have the name, few have the quality. The most important place is one we carry round with us. It is our souls: that deep down place of discovery and adventure into a realm beyond this world. To touch it we can stand on mountains, read poetry, smell a flower but that lasts only moments. To relate and be who we truly are deep down, we need to worship: to touch the mystery of life and future and love and truth and hope and promise and light and searching. All these are the personality of God. The doorway to the holy place is here, among these people where moments of wonder last eternally. Welcome to the Worship Alternative. |

Worship ought never to be common place. It is a dancing in God and God quickstepping in our souls. It is a unique encounter each time. In this cosmos it is not common. It is alternative. In a world of lordship, rule and domination, worship has become the alternative. In a world of policy and cunning, power-seeking and diplomacy, truth has become the alternative. In a world of war games and trade-burdens, money-boys and crippling debt, justice has become the alternative. Darkness is common - light is not. Seek the alternative. In worship. In God.

Midweek and fortnightly we explore themes, cultures, traditions and creation in new forms and alternative ways.
Sitting in a diamond, facing the people we worship with and live with and explore with, we hear new words in old settings, we hear stories of encounter and adventure.
Decorating our worship area with symbols and images, we hear words from different throats, sing old songs in new ways, let image and symbol speak in our souls as we let The Creator, The Carpenter and The Birth-Giver dream in us a new intent.
