MUSICAL ACTORS TAKE BIG NOTE!
New open mic night with live musicians will provide the perfect venue for show songs.

There's a new take on the open mic theme at The Spot, 29-30 Maiden Lane, Covent Garden. Targeted at professionals and punters alike, Big Note Aftershow is the first such evening to focus specifically on musical theatre. In doing so, it offers actors a unique opportunity to showcase new material or simply work together in a friendly, supportive atmosphere.

Best of all, because of its hours - 11.00pm to 1.00am - it's the ideal hang-our for actors who have just finished a performance as well as those polishing their act. Indeed, half the attraction is wondering who will drop in. The other is that, because the participants are professionals, the quality will be unusually high.

Embracing everything from Cole Porter to Cameron Macintosh, the Big Note Aftershow will also feature live musicians to give an extra dimension to the performances. (Potential performers take note - you'll need to bring your sheet music).

The Big Note Aftershow starts on 1st July and will be open on the first Monday of every month. 11.00pm til 1.00am.
