Harrisons of Amble and now owned by Peter Weightman . She is an 8 plank coble ,
measuring 30 ft 4 ins by 8 ft 4 ins beam and fitted with a Kelvin P4 diesel .-

floating Restaurant in the Royal Quays , Albert & Edward Dock. March 2004
.The Earl of Zetland was built in 1939 by Hall Russell of Aberdeen and operated
between Shetland and Orkney as an inter-island ferry until 1975. Then she was
used as a survey vessel until conversion at Great Yarmouth into a floating
restaurant in 1988. |
