Admissions

Children may start at the school the term after their 4th birthday part time. All children will have at least two full time terms before the end of their Reception year.

Priority is given to children who live within our designated catchment area. If there is insufficient space available to meet all the requests from parents then the following criteria are applied to determine how places will be allocated :

• Catchment area
• Medical grounds
• Current sibling connection
• Previous sibling connection
• On the shortest distance measured in a straight line between the central point of the main school and where the pupil lives, with those pupils living closer to the school being accorded higher priority.

It is helpful if you register your child with the school at least 2 years before they are due for admission. You will be notified of starting dates the term before your child is due to commence school. You will be invited to a New Parents Evening and have the opportunity to spend an afternoon in school with your child prior to them starting.
