BACKGROUND

This piece was written when I was a teenager and it is obviously pastiche! It owes a debt to pieces I was playing at the time - I see several clichés. I've changed the odd note here and there but everything is as it was in the 1970s!

PLAYBACK

Playback gives you a good idea how the piece goes. The notation of the last two bars could be better. Basically, you need to pull out a huge amount and make it sound like the piece was more exciting than it really was!

SOUNDS

I have not used 'Organ' sound because (a) it sounds terrible (b) the Synth Brass effect is more in keeping with the mood of the piece.  However, your computer will have yet another sound-card so you will only get a rough idea of what it sounds like to me.  The pedal part has a hidden stave which creates a 16' pitch on playback. The dynamics can be increased if you wish. It's just that, on my PC, 'ff' is rather distorted.
