A Year in the Garden

MARCH

The 'Carlton' daffodils at the top of the drive are in bloom, making a bright splash of yellow under the trees. Elsewhere hellebores, forsythia and flowering currant add colour. In the courtyard pieris and the cammelias are flowering, attracting the first bees. If the weather is good the lawn can have it's first cut, and weeding can commence- it is essential to get on top of it at this time of year.
