HELEN & JOEY

Its 1994 and Helen Love are sitting about in Wales writing songs about Joey Ramone and Rockaway Beach

Somehow Joey Ramone gets to hear them and he's impressed enough to write a recommendation for the album that's a compilation of the singles, the ironically titled 'Radio Hits'

Fast forward to 98 and he's phoning in an introduction to a recording of a cover of the Clash's Tommy Gun for the Steve Lamacq show on BBC radio

Then in 99. They re-record an early single 'Punk Boy' with Joey Ramone dueting on the vocals on the album 'Love and Glitter, Hot Days and Music'

Go out and buy it, you'll love it
