DEBBIE C.B.'s in
Joey Ramone Place

John 'Waving or Drowning ?' Holmstrom, Marky 'All Smiles' Ramone and Legs 'Blind Boy' McNeil
Backstage at CBGB's for the unveiling of Joey Ramone Place
Debbie went to CBGB's on Sunday the 30th of November to check out the ceremony for Joey Ramone Place
She's going to write something up about it, but for now heres a few of the photo's that she took

Little Steven wearing a chameleon skin shirt
Steven Van Zandt, you may know him as Miami Steve, or as the guy from the Sopranos, or the guy who M.C.'d Joeys 50th birthday bash or maybe you just know him as the guy whose old Bass player produced Animal boy
Sounds like he's got a great radio show - check out more here

Lenny offers to flip the burgers this time
"Lenny Kaye the NICEST guy in ROck nRoll in the dressing rooms at cbgbs this room was once the kitchen! behind Lennys head you can see the old stoves hood vent.."

John Holmstrom and Marky Ramone
The world owes John Holmstrom a lot - ultimately he was partially responsible for changing western culture FOR EVER - if you look at the difference between now and the mid 70's you cant overestimate how much Punk was ultimately responsible for that (even if no-one realised it at the time)

Richard Boes Friend
Jim Jarmusch - Ramones fan and Filmaker

John and Lenny try and recollect the scent of CB's Chili

John, Legs and Arturo Vega
As well as being the Ramones Artistic Director, Arturo Vega is the man behind the REAL Ramones website
www.ramonesworld.comLegs was the original resident Punk at Punk Magazine and was responsible for Debbie losing her sense of taste, more about that in Debbies next instalment, but you may know him better as the guy behind the book "Please kill me" - I was in New York Last year and I was too drunk to work the Jukebox in Manitobas, so the guy sitting next to me helped me out - I'm pretty sure it was Legs, because he has a pretty memorable face these days - I asked my burd if she thought it was, but she couldn't even remember putting any songs on - then again, she was throwing up about an hour later so that shouldn't really surprise me

Uncle Sy says 'Hi'
" the old guy - thats Joeys loveable uncle Sy Hyman"
