WR International operates on a frequency of 12256 Khz in the short wave band. Our transmitters operate from within the UK and can be heard over a wide area. Places where our programs have been heard are Scotland, Wales, England, France, Sweden, Germany, Lithuania, Russia, USA, Finland, Spain, Italy and many other parts of Europe and the world.

Programs consist of mainly pop music spanning the form 1955 up to and including 1989. Along with the music there is a 2 of the very best of (2 tracks from 1 artist), 2 retro top 3 charts (charting the hits of the current date X amount of years back) and also interesting facts and figures of what happened on the current date in history.

We always ask for your input in the station and you can e-mail us 24 hours a day 7 days a week and we do like to get your e-mails whilst we are on air.
