Sheltie Books excellent for breed specific information & invaluable for ‘older’ pedigree information & pictures.  Of course, the obvious breed standards & handbooks are also useful here – but be aware that standards often differ between countries.  This hyperlink is an MSWord file - please contact me if you have any difficulties in reading theinformation.

 

In addition to the above refs I have also read numerous websites on coat colour genetics, but apart from those linked here, & a couple of rodent genetics sites here, I prefer to read original literature.
