Sheltie of the Year 2000

Sheltie of the year is an annual event held in the UK where the top winners may compete to become "Sheltie of the Year". Winners of BIS, BPIS and BVIS at a Shetland Sheepdog Club Show during the period 23rd Sept 1999 - 7th October 2000 are eligible to enter by invitation only. There are three categories:
Sheltie Puppy of the Year
Sheltie of the Year
Sheltie Veteran of the Year
All Judging occurs simultaneously with one judge per ring - ie. SPOY in ring 1 with Judge 1, SOY with judge 2 and SVOY with judge 3. Each entrant is placed by each judge independantly. The three judges place the dogs in order of preference and the dog with the highest accumulation of places is declared the winner in each category.
The SSCNI welcomed three well known sheltie exhibitors and breeders to SOY 2000.
