The final farewell

After all had been martyred. All Imam Hussein's family and friends, it was his turn to go into the battlefield and discharge his duty.

Overwhelmingly out-numbered, Imam Hussein stood against the tyrant, Yazid's army.

His call of "Is there anyone to help me?" stands today as it stood then.

Help in keeping the message of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) alive.

While Imam Hussein had been performing his prayers, the evil army of Yazid fired a shower of stones and arrows upon the Holy Imam. During prayers where his head was bowed on the ground, Yazid's troops came and across the dry throat of Imam Hussein, one which had not had water for 3 days, his head was severed.

We are from God and unto Him is our return.
