moving into the future
It's easy to talk of future at the doorstep of a millennium. It's more difficult to live it. But we're trying to do that with an interactive and pro-active Sunday School.
It is a community of children and adults who want to respond and be involved in putting worship and life together through learning, acting, worshipping and responding.
living the future
We worship together as all-ages. we respond to each other, give each other space and respect and celebrate the whole of life as one family.
The time together as a whole congregation is extremely important and everything we are as Abbotsford depends upon it.
being the future
All our children are taught in age appropriate classes looking at biblical and contemporary issues. Teaching is done through stories, crafts, plays and discussion always related to the theme the entire congregation is thinking about that day.
We want families and friends to go home together and be able to talk about what went on in church - and everyone knowing what each other is talking about! So our themes are integrated throughout each age group (including the adults).
