Association for Cypriot, Greek and Turkish Affairs

The Association for Cypriot, Greek and Turkish Affairs (ACGTA) was founded in London in February 1992 with the following aims:

• to promote the development and dissemination of knowledge and understanding of contemporary social, political, economic and cultural affairs in Cyprus, Greece and Turkey so as to promote good and friendly relations between these countries;
• to encourage mutual understanding and respect between the peoples of Cyprus, Greece and Turkey;
• to provide a forum for discussion and exchange of social and political ideas, free from any physical, psychological, legal or other impediment

To these ends, the Association organizes conferences, symposia, seminars, lectures and other activities in which scholars, journalists, politicians, lawyers and other
persons with a special knowledge of, or interest in, Cyprus, Greece and Turkey exchange or discuss information, analyses, views and ideas.
