Y Cwm is the childhood home of Sir Henry Jones, who from humble origins became an eminent professor of philosophy and a major influence on the education system in Wales.

Visit this fascinating museum of Welsh rural life and:

Directions: On A548 Abergele to Llanrwst road in the centre of Llangernyw. Follow signs from car park.

Open: Good Friday – Easter Monday (1400 – 1700)

May to 30 September: Tuesday - Friday and Bank Holidays: 1030-1300

Saturday and Sunday 1400-1700

Groups throughout the year by appointment.

Facilities: Audio loop, toilet, shop, parking for cars and coaches, primary schools teachers pack, garden.

Admission: Adults: £1.50 (under 16: £1.00)

School groups: Free admission to Conwy County Borough Council schools (10% discount for others).
