Welcome to the Gower Peninsula which is located on the South Wales coast, UK. In 1956 this small peninsula 18 by 5 miles was the first place in the UK to be officially designated as an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty', containing some of the most unspoilt and beautiful scenery in South Wales it has such a combination of natural beauty, history and customs that at first sight it is impossible for the vistor to appreciate its full potential.
From the heights of Cefn Bryn, panoramic views of the northern shores can be seen, across to the Lougher Estuary and Camarthenshire. To the south, many bays and beaches of the southern coast line strecth out before you, and beyond, the Bristol Channel and Devon.
