There are actually more than one future .  There is the one on this page (I wil …) and the other using 'to go' (I am going to …).  You must know one of the two by heart!

Here is the 'real ' future though!

All regular verbs which end with -ar behave in the same way that CANTAR does:

CANTAR                    TO SING
Cantaré                    I will sing
Cantarás                  You  will sing
Cantará                    S/He will sing
Cantaremos             We will sing
Cantaréis                 You will sing
Cantarán                  They will sing               


Note that it is always the infinitive (cantar) + an ending!

All regular verbs which end with -er behave in the same way that COMER does:

COMER                    TO EAT
Comeré                     I will eat
Comerás                   You will eat
Comerá                     S/He will eat
Comeremos              We will eat
Comeréis                  You will eat
Comerán                   They will eat
         

Note that the endings are the same!


The good news is that the regular verbs in -ir  also have the same endings!  Beware though as most are irregular!
