The Colourful Route Buses of The Maltese Islands

Prior to 1973 the following livery colours were carried by the Route Buses in the Maltese Islands

The first six routes shown below became GRUPP A in 1973 using the Green Cottonera livery.

The 5 routes shown below became GRUPP B in 1973 using the Mellieha livery

The 3 Malta routes shown below became GRUPP C in 1973 using the Birkirkara livery.

The Gozo Route Buses retained the same livery.

GRUPP A, B and C operated between 1973 and 1975.

From 1975 until 1995 all Malta Route Buses were painted in the Green and White livery as used by GRUPP A.

From 1995 to date, all Malta Route Buses became painted in the Yellow and White with an Orange waistband livery.
