Two Kennedy's sausage shops in South London (Walworth Road, Camberwell and South Norwood) were listed as Grade II buildings on Wednesday 21st May 2008, by Culture Minister Margaret Hodge. Yours truly (Alan Edwards) was interviewed by Liz Wickham for ITN LONDON TONIGHT on 22 May 2008. The last of our Kennedy’s Sausages frying






Sadly the last 8 Kennedy’s shops closed on 22nd December 2007 after 130 years of trading. Here is a short film of our last fry - up. No one else made sausages as good as Kennedy's.

Kennedy's butchers, famed for its sausages, closed down in December 2007 after 130 years. This film is an insight into British traditions, such as traditional butchers, are being lost to modern society and supermarket culture
