2. John William Cordner (Frank, #4) was born on 12 Aug 1908 at 15 Woodbine Terrace, Gateshead, Co Durham, England. He married Doris Blay (see #3), daughter of Richard Charles Blay and Elizabeth Sadler, on 15 Sep 1934 at Holy Saviour's, Tynemouth. He was buried in 1972 at Bretton Crematorium, Peterborough. He died on 6 Nov 1972 at Baker Perkins Westwood Works, Peterborough, Huntingdon and Peterborough, England, at age 64.

He died on 3 Dec 1917 at SS Dowlais torpedoed (WW1) at age 35.
