Alan's Boatyard - 'Flat Holm' Model

With both the waterline height at bow and stern the same distance up from the table (I have lifted the back of the stand up to achieve this), the waterline is marked. I use the AMATI Waterline Marker Unit (I bit extravagant but was a Birthday Present). A pencil line is drawn round the hull. On some hull shapes it is easier to support the hull upside down on a large flat surface, again first making sure the position of bow and stern waterlines are at the correct height's before marking.
