After rubbing down the Glass Fibre Coating and filling any obvious blemishes (also rubbed down), I have given the hull a coat of Primer.
Until the surface has a paint covering (any colour) the defects in the surface can not be seen very well.
The next job is to fill any defects, rub down and spray again
