This last night, by chance, we stumbled into a jazz bar.

A great combo were performing. Drums, Alto Sax, Guitar and String Bass. The drummer and sax were from Amsterdam, the guitarist from Israel and the bass from America.

I had a good chat with them and it was the first time they had performed together. The bass player had worked all over the world and said his mentor was the late Charlie Mingus

They played some wonderful sets, just my cuppa !
