OLD YARDSTICKS Still life is one of my favourite subjects. I have got past just capturing the objects and the challenge is composition and creating brilliance & luminosity. This one is 9.5" x 9" in Acrylics and was painted with bright sunlight streaming in. I tried to capture the intense light. It was painted in October 1999. |
