PORTRAITS

Caroline, painted September 99. I am starting to want to paint folk more and more, so interesting. Below are some more portraits, the copy of the Van Gogh & Renoir were for practice. The third is one I did in 1997 of Miranda, another family friend.

Painted for an exhibition Jan 99. The famous paintings l to r, Top: Les Parapluies, Renoir; Composition with Red, Yellow and Blue, Mondrian; the Vision after the Sermon, Gauguin; The Café-Concert, Manet; Jean Hébuterne, Modigliani; The Rumanian Blouse, Matisse; Bottom: Marilyn, Warhol; Ambassadeurs, Lautrec; The Bark during the Flood at Port-Marly, Sisley; Still Life with Peaches and Apples, Cézanne. This was such a great experience, to copy old Masters, I learnt such a lot from it. It's called 'SELF PORTRAIT, ADMIRING MY ART COLLECTION.....I WISH'
