| The last plot in a successful
landscaped business park just off the M4 junction 12. We
are providing a three storey flat slab frame with a
lightweight steel framed penthouse and atrium roof above.
Concrete toilet cores provide stability with a moment
frame for the longer wing. A feature staircase cantilevers from a single tubular spine beam, out into the atrium from a bridge connecting the two pairs of glass lifts. The whole site consists of fill left over from gravel extraction so all foundations are piled. At the time of writing the site has been cleared and major services diverted around the site. The building has been successfully but is currently on holddue to a loss of confidence by the developer as to the short term future of the market.
