Reverend Thomas N. HULL, Methodist Minister arrived 1838 and stayed until 1841. Born 14th August 1806, the son of an Army officer, he spent his infancy in Egypt and childhood in Co.Down, Northern Ireland. After Malta he worked in Gibraltar and Australia, before returning in 1853 to Cornwall, England, for two years, then onwards to Ireland. He retired in 1867, and died on 6th December 1903, aged 98 years
