THE RECEPTION:
This can take any form you wish - a Scottish tea, with your champagne/sparkling wine and possibly the cake/speeches, followed later by perhaps the piper/dancer entertainment and then a sit-down dinner or stand up buffet for numbers larger than 60: or you can have canapes, or no food and an earlier dinner - we'll discuss formats with you when you visit or by phone.
Details and costs are all are in our literature, on request, and many helpful guidelines. Our administrator will help you plan the entire day and our staff will ensure that it runs smoothly.

THE DINNER:
Dinner in the main 14th century dining hall is a memorable occasion. We provide good freshly prepared Scottish produce and liaise with you on menus. We cater for special needs if notified. There is a reasonably priced in-house wine list. Additional meals may be provided if requested, (lunches, teas). Own wines may be provided in payment of corkage charges.
THE ENTERTAINMENT:
We highly recommend the piper/ dancers performance (about 40 mins. - very Scottish, very professional but charming) before dinner - after dinner you may want a band, a ceilidh, a discotheque, or just tapes and a quiet time; it depends on age groups! THE ACCOMMODATION:
Our prices are based on the assumption that most if not all the group will stay 'in-house' - and our B&B rates are very reasonably priced to make that possible.
Any overspill can be accommodated locally, sometimes even in our own holiday properties on the estate, to keep the party together.
Normally you will want to come and see us, look at the rooms and allocate your guests yourselves. For that reason we do not take individual bookings from guests at a wedding.
Babysitters can usually be booked. There is a flexible chauffered transport service within half a mile. Most of our rooms are large and we can, on request, accommodate children in their parents room.
