Background
AMCC , is an ISO9001 accredited company. Established in 1985 to provide communication Consultancy and unique 'one-off' design and build services to the motor racing fraternity. The services have broadened, as has the customer base that now includes:
- Royal Airforce School of Aviation Medicine (RAF SAM)
- Centre for Human Sciences (CHS )
- Defence Evaluation and Research Agency (DERA)
- Defense Civil and Industrial Environmental Medicine (DCIEM) of Toronto Canada
- The Institute for Perception (TNO) of Soesterberg Holland
- Helmet Integrated Systems Ltd (HISL)
- Legoland
AMCC have extensive design and development experience in all forms of Active Noise Reduction (ANR) techniques and are currently conducting a feasibility study into digital ANR technology. Systems already developed include:
- A circum aural system developed for the UK Mod. This system will be entering service with the UK Navy helicopter fleet in 1999.
- An in-ear device developed for the UK Army, which is currently undergoing trials.
AMCC also have extensive knowledge of aircraft and vehicle communication systems developing;
- Advanced hands free communication systems as used by Search and Rescue helicopter crews around the world.
- Advanced vehicle inter-communication systems.
- Extensive use of noise reduction, noise tracking and speech enhancement techniques has resulted in systems with vastly superior performance.
AMCC also provide:
