Premier AILSADELL ISRAA
(translated as Gentleman)
Our neutered show-boy Kusagi is proudly exhibiting
his Lion's
Mane - one of the features of Turkish Van cats.
Turkish Van Cats arrived in Britain in the 1950's and were recognized
for showing in 1969.
Later creams as well as odd eyes and blue eyes were
acknowledged.
More recently the coloureds, blacks, blues, torties and
tabbies
have been recognized by the GCCF and can be shown from June
2000.
We are proud of our coloured stud-boy, a white and black, second
generation coloured Turk called
Alkim Seceresoy, Turkish for "Rainbow
Pedigree".
His temperament is fantastic and he is throwing kittens with
strong coloured genes.

PEDI Waiting for his next queen. Coloured Turks are relatively rare but have now been accepted by the GCCF for showing from June 2000 |

| KUSAGI Taking the waters. It is true that Turkish Vans love water and there are those who will happily share a bath or shower with their owners, or swim in the garden pond ! |
