Friends of Horsenden Hill

"The Friends of Horsenden Hill" was constituted as a voluntary organisation in November 1999

It meets at Horsenden Farm (by the canal bridge on Horsenden Lane - see map below) on the third Sunday of every month at 2.00 pm for a working session on its current project followed by a discussion on future activities

 

It is currently working closely with Ealing Council's Parks and Countryside Division in the development of the farm as a future visitor centre

Its latest project was the replanting of the Community Orchard

It has held two successful publicity events at the farm, "Apple Day" and "The Scents of Spring" attended by several hundred visitors and has a further similar event planned for Sunday 15th October 2000

 

 

The group produce a full colour newsletter of its activities plus details of projects and events on the farm and hill
