The low sided wagon on the standard post-war 18'-0" chassis was class HC. HC class wagons formed the basis for conversion to a number of other classes including class HCN. This class consisted of fifteen wagons converted to flat tops carry Nickel concentrate containers. It is perhaps a little surprising that they did not end up in the N class group. They were all converted to other types in 1978/9
