KW class steel open wagons

In 1931/2 a total of 120 K class wagons were fitted with wooden extensions to the sides and tarpaulin rails for wheat traffic. The first wagon to be converted was 10645 which ran for some time in its new condition as class K . The wagons were converted and reclassified KW as follows:
