In 1962 a GS class open goods wagon number 5022 was converted to carry a pair of hot fuel oil tanks. The sides were removed but it retained its ends.

It was written off in 1973 and the tanks transferred to a longer chassis from a KA class open numbered 19135.

This wagon was finally written off in 1982.
