In 1928 three J class tank wagons were converted to carry petroleum products for SHELL. The wagons involved ( J1509, 2667 and 3723) became numbers 13-15.
A further five (J2605, 3079, 1089, 1448 and 1952) became numbers 16, 17, 18, 29 and 30 in 1929. In 1950 these wagons were reclassified JWA.
In 1969 numbers 14 and 16 were written off followed by 15 and 17 in 1971, 28 in 1974 and 29 and 30 in 1975.
I am unsure of the date of the demise of JWA13.
