Class QBB Bolster wagon.

The QBB class bolster wagons were the result of the conversion of old wagons on the standard 30'-0" chassis from classes Q, QB, R, V and VA. Conversion started in 1962 and involved the replacement of the truss rods with angle iron (giving a load of 21 tons 3cwt rather than 16 tons for a class Q) and fitting them with six rather than four bolsters.
