Class QBC Bolster wagon.

Class QBC was made up of two groups of wagons although both were conversions of VB class vans in 1973. The first group comprised the wagons converted from those VB's built between 1938 and 1947. These had 5'-6" wheelbase RB type bogies and truss rods. The wagons involved in this group were 3043, 3105, 3170, 3197, 3647, 3654, 3680, 3712, 3782, 3846, 3937, 3960/3, 4072, 4226, 4267, 4301/7 and written off VB's 3023, 3194, 3883, 4298 and 4330. |

The second group had angle iron underframes and RC type bogies (ex VB 13322/6/8, 13330/4-9, 13340, 13350/1 and written off VB 13324/9, 13331, 13347/8) from the VB's built in 1950/1.The final disposal of the class is as below: |
