Class GW bulk wheat wagons

Written off GW class wagons (GW3823 nearest camera).
This group of sixty wagons was created in 1937 for Bunbury Jetty use by the conversion of standard G class open wagons. The original conversion added high side extensions and three small doors along the bottom of each side. Eventually the opening at the top was also reduced in width by a partial roof. They were replaced at Bunbury by the GSW class wagons built between 1963 and 1965. It is known that at least the last three wagons converted to NS had already been stripped of their bodywork as class GW before they were reclassified.
