NATIONAL PIPE ORGAN REGISTER

The National Pipe Organ Register (NPOR) is part of the British Institute of Organ Studies (BIOS). It contains details of 28,000 organs, including 6,000 pictures. By using the search options, information about an organ can be found, and photographs seen where these exist.

There is also a Historic Sound Archive, with recordings of historic organs using music suitable for the period when the organ was built.

Throught the BAO web site, you will find (NPOR) links. These will take you directly to an entry on the NPOR for the organ to which we are referring.
