Q1: 30% should be a minimum target plus there should be an annual review of progress. Q2: Zero Waste means 100% recycling. By definition there is no waste to burn. We may need to get out of the West of England partnership for waste and go our own way. Q3: Concentration should also be on our present housing stock--it will make up 98% of our housing in 10 years time. Q4: Public Transport should be run as in London with Regional/city based Public Transport Executives who regulate routes, frequencies and fares--from which they borrow and invest in public transport. The yellow bus idea is good, but the actual US buses are old and polluting. There should be no Park and Ride to the East of Bath, rather the government should be pressured to reopen Corsham Station. More safe routes to schools: make our roads safer for cycling. (We should) take cycling for leisure, commuting and health more seriously.
