As a Conservative Candidate and member of the Conservative Party I am concerned about global warming and support doing everything possible to reduce waste, reduce carbon dioxide emissions, and ensure our houses are energy efficient. I think that First Group show good public servic ethos--all their vehicles in B&NES are lower emission vehicles. Bus use in B&NES is rising and we are doing all we can to encourage people to consider using different ways of travelling to work. Bristol Airport is necessary to sustain a robust regional economy. The alternative is that people waste fuel travelling to other Airports.....Bath has over the years and continues to have great areas of Green space. I have suppported and will continue to support policies to maintain this situation.
