If you like the occasional night or an afternoon out with no kids, then this is the place for you. Events on this page can range from pub crawls to climbing. Most of the events you'll have to pre-book and pay upfront for such as climbing, sailing etc. They are all non-Scouting events so you undertake them entirely at your own risk, all these events come with a risk element that vary from hangover to the risk of death from a climbing accident.

There are no guarantees to get up for your 15 minute thrill of gliding but if you do you'll never forget the day. We meet early at the gliding club, breakfast and meals can be purchased at the club. If the flight is canceled due to weather conditions a full refund will be given. All surplus money raised for this experience will be donated back to 1st Pontefract Scout Centre.
