August 1999 I officially took up the post as Sarky Cutt editor. In the first few months of my position, I gained experience in selling advertising space and took on more responsibilities than I had previously had to deal with in my position as co-deputy editor. 
March 1999 Layout and design of the French History Review, on behalf of the Society for the Study of French History. 
February 1999 Elected as editor of the Sarky Cutt by fellow students
Sept 1998 – July 1999 Co-deputy editor of the University of Greenwich Student Union newspaper, the Sarky Cutt.

Completed official Sarky Cutt leadership training in editorial skills. This is part of the Student Union’s Leadership Programme.
Sept 1996 – June 1997 Won a competitive placement to attend American high school as part of an exchange programme, graduating with a 4.0 GPA (effectively straight A’s).

Worked on Freedom High School’s newspaper, the Patriot Pride assisting with layout; also played an active role on the school’s literary magazine, The Pen and Ink, as an editorial assistant, achieving publication of an original poem. This edition won a national award for excellence.

Took part in a national schools competition for young business leaders, reaching the PA State finals.

St. Edward’s Sixth Form.
