Welcome to our herd of
Golden Guernseys.
Bendholm Dusty GG5788D
Our
first two Golden
Guernseys were originally from Chris Bennetts
Muircock herd in Scotland,
" Annaliese" and "Hannah". They were in
effect, rescue jobs but I didn't know at the time just what I had.
Other
females joined us over the next two years as the foundation stock for
our herd.
Pictured
above is Dusty, her twin sister Bendholm Fudge has just completed a 365
day lactation and produced over 1100 kilos of milk. Their dam
Rookdale
Fair has also just completed a 365 day lactation and produced over 1200
kilos.
Goldens
are not big goats but they are dairy goats and we are very
pleased
with their achievements.
