Brief Biography.
Andrea Caro has spent a lifetime around music. From the time she started playing piano at the age of four - ignoring advice that her fingers were too small - to the moment she formed her current band in London, music has been the major force in Andrea's life. In 1998 she spent every last penny she had on a 1973 Fender Rhodes electric piano, and set about developing the passionate, intelligent songs that are now her instantly recognisable sound. Her influences are as diverse as her songs are brilliant, taking the musicality of bands like the Doors and REM, alongside the originality of artists such as PJ Harvey and Blondie. Andrea has written several original compositions for short films, including 'The Note' which won first prize in the London Short Film Festival. But it is in her songs that her heart lies and her talent shines. Andrea Caro has the voice, the band and the attitude to blow a breath of fresh air into the current music scene. Don't miss her.
