G-ALZW  Airspeed Ambassador

Purchased from BEA in 1958

Inaugurated a one weekly scheduled service between Newcastle and Bergen 4th June 1958. Lady Wakefield, the wife of the Governer of Northern Ireland was one of the passengers.

Inaugrated London - Teeside route on 2nd November 1964

Withdrawn from use in 1967
