April 22 1966 an United Airlines Viscount 745 arrived at Southend for overhaul and respray before entering service with B.K.S. Registered G-ATTA, this Viscount was test flown on June 7, and two days later it entered service with B.K.S. Air Transport on the services to Leeds.
